The Print Consultancy take the preservation of our environment very seriously. We continually strive to do what we can to help, we explore advanced methods of production, improve our policies on recycling and investigate the range of recycled and recyclable materials we use.

Avenues we explore include:

  • The widening range of recycled and recyclable materials
  • Biodegradeable products
  • The use of organic materials
  • Methods of powering - solar, by hand, water etc
  • Materials from sustainable sources
  • Monitoring of equipment emissions
  • Choices of reduction and recycling of packaging

With Print there is a misconception that we can save forests by reducing our printed paper production. However, paper forests are fully sustainable and protected by such accreditations as FSC. There are a large number of highly qualified experts who would confirm that using a paper that is 50% recycled and 50% FSC is better for the Environment than 100% recycled.

All papers used by The Print Consultancy are covered under the FSC and Recycled Accreditations.

Go Greener with The Print Consultancy

Deciding not to print anything may help the Environment, but may not be a sound business decision. Choosing to use a print company as focussed on the Environment as The Print Consultancy, is one of the best decisions you could make.

Whether Digital or Litho print, we ensure that print is produced under strict policies, monitoring materials, effects of machinery being used and methods of recycling waste materials.

We enjoy a Digital partnership using Xerox printing equipment, who are committed to our Environment and adhere to numerous stringent policies on production, power usage and recycling.

Using recycled and FSC accredited papers only. As a standard all of our coated papers are a minimum 30 - 50% recycled.

90% + of all waste is Recycled.

With Litho printing the same policies apply, using only papers with FSC Accreditation, and with recycled content in coated stocks from 30 - 100%.

You can also add information to your brochures to enforce your Green policy, such as This publication was produced to ISO14001 Environmental Management System standards and 95% of the waste created during the process was recycled. FSC logo's can be added.
